White Glove Service $270
Premium inside delivery and set up. White Glove service is the most involved delivery service we offer at Golden Technologies. In a White
Glove service, a White Glove agent will:
• Deliver the unit inside the customer’s home;
• Unpack the unit;
• Set it up in the room of their choice;
• Connect the power;
• Remove all packing debris.
During this type of delivery, there are certain terms and restrictions:
o Before delivery, the customer must clear the space where the chair is to be set up, as well as a path leading to it.
o If the agent must go up or down more than one flight of stairs, Golden must be notified when the order is placed. Agents will certainly do this, but additional fees may apply.
o The determination of whether or not a living space is unsanitary is reserved to the discretion of the White Glove agent. If a White Glove agent feels a true and direct
threat to his health and well-being, he will contact Golden, who will contact the dealer.
o Agents have up to twelve days from the day the unit ships from Golden to deliver the unit, unless delay is due to unavailability of the end user or inclement weather.
o Agents will contact the end user beforehand, to schedule a delivery window; agents are not required to give less than a four-hour delivery window, although they may narrow that down if they can.
o There is no training involved with White Glove delivery.
Residential to the Front Door $230
Residential To the Front Door deliveries are the most common form of residential delivery requested by Golden Technologies’ customers. As with business inside delivery, the strict definition of this delivery is to move the product across the threshold of the entrance of the
building. However, there are certain policies that freight companies have in place that may affect your request for a residential inside delivery. By federal law, freight carriers will not complete a residential inside delivery under the following circumstances:
• the delivery address is not accessible using a standard freight truck;
• the distance between the roadway and the entryway is unreasonably long;
• there is any number of stairs leading to the front door;
• the door is not wide enough for the Golden unit to fit through while still in its box.
Regular freight carriers cannot accommodate the above requests due to limits of liability.
The reason that regular carriers are priced more competitively than White Glove services are due to White Glove agents’ needs for all-encompassing liability insurance. Were a regular carrier to damage a Golden lift chair while bringing it upstairs or unpacking it, they would not be liable for the damage, because they are explicitly forbidden by their rules tariffs to perform such tasks.
We do realize that many end users of Golden Technologies’ products may be unequipped for the unpacking and movement of our products; this is why we also offer White Glove delivery
Residential Curbside $185
During a residential curbside delivery, the driver will leave the product in the driveway or on the porch, as long as there are no steps leading to either. The customer is responsible for getting the product inside their home.
Transit Time
When ordering a product from Golden Technologies, customers receive an estimated transit time. This is not the same as a lead/build time. The lead/build time is the amount of time it takes to build or prepare a product prior to shipping. Transit time is based on the average duration it takes freight carriers to move a shipment from a Golden Technologies’ facility to the end destination. These transit times are always averages; if the shipment is within two days of the transit time, this is considered acceptable. And of course, average transit times are always weather permitting.
Freight Incidence & Receiving Policy
The freight carriers that Golden Technologies utilizes are the best in the shipping industry; their customer satisfaction, quality, and prices are unsurpassed, and their relationship with our company and the amount of product we ship with them ensures that our customers’ shipments become our freight carriers’ top priorities.
Even with every precaution taken, however, freight damage will occur from time to time. Golden Technologies enjoys one of the lowest freight damage rates in the industry— .46%, or one out of every 306 chairs we ship—but to the person who receives a freight-damaged product, percentages and statistics mean nothing. We at Golden Technologies understand the stress and anger at receiving a freight-damaged product, and we have implemented policies to ensure that freight damage issues can be handled quickly and efficiently.
To understand our freight receiving policy, it is first necessary to know what types of freight damage issues can arise. There are four categories of freight damage, into which most situations will fall: shortages, overages, visible damage, and concealed damage. The most important thing to remember about our receiving policy is this: do not sign the delivery receipt until every step of our receiving policy has been completed. If you sign the delivery receipt before following our receiving policy, and a problem is discovered, you may be limiting the options available to Golden Technologies to resolve the issue.
Golden recommends that freight be inspected immediately upon delivery. Whenever freight damage or shortages or overages are found, Golden Technologies should be contacted immediately. Please contact the freight department at 800-624-6374.
Drop shipping Service Contract
Golden Technologies requires a minimum One Year Service Contract on each drop shipped item!
Class II Medical Device
All Lift Chairs, Scooters, Power Wheelchairs are Class II Medical Devices.
Pride Mobility Shipping and Handling
Standard Residential Drop Shipping
Curbside delivery via commercial LTL carrier. The driver will deliver the product to the curbside; the customer is responsible for moving it into their home.
Cost: $210.00 for freight + $100.00-$150.00 labor contract fee.
Additional Fees: Re-delivery charges may apply for missed appointments.
Availability: Not available in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
Premium Delivery Service
Delivery to the first threshold of the home. Does not include unpacking, setup, or removal of old products.
Cost: $250.00. Labor contract is additional (refer to Standard Residential Drop Ship for pricing).
Additional Fees: Re-delivery charges apply if delivery appointment is missed.
Availability: Not available for Jazzy® Power Wheelchairs or Power Mobility Vehicles. Not available in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
Special Notes: Delivery within 7-10 days. Appointment scheduling directly with the recipient.
Platinum Delivery Service
Delivery to room of choice; includes unboxing, setup, and power-up. Does not include removal of old products or detailed instruction.
Cost: $300.00. Labor contract is additional (refer to Standard Residential Drop Ship for pricing).
Additional Fees: Re-delivery charges apply for missed appointments.
Availability: Not available for Standard Power Chairs or Power Mobility Vehicles. Not available in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

Field Service Technician
Field Service Technicians (FSTs)
The sole function of an FST is to provide service. The FST will perform the following services: unbox, remove carton, assemble, power-up, check for proper operation of the unit, explain basic usage and provide the owner’s manual and warranty information. An FST cannot provide set-up and instruction for a Medicare beneficiary. An FST never receives or delivers products.
Important Notes
Labor Contracts: Required for all drop shipments.
Set-Up Service: Available only on new units and not for Quantum Rehab products or units with specialized seating.
Re-delivery Charges: Apply if the delivery appointment is missed.
Remote Areas: Additional charges may apply for deliveries to remote or isolated zones.
