Hormone Replacement Therapy:

Managing your hormone levels is crucial in order to prevent many diseases. Irregular hormone levels may explain some of the symptoms you have been experiencing and could help your pharmacist see exactly what your body is deficient in. It is recommended that you have your hormone levels tested at every annual checkup.

Here at Pill Box we will work closely with you and your healthcare practitioner to review your blood work and come up with a treatment plan. We have the advantage to compound bio-identical hormones, which mimic the exact function of the natural hormones your body produces on its own, which most pharmacies cannot do. Bio-Identical hormones have the exact chemical structure as the hormones found in the human body, where commercially manufactured hormone medication tends to be a “one size fits all” and doesn’t account for your body’s differences and unique needs.

Angela Pressman is our consulting pharmacist at Pill Box Pharmacy and Medical Supply. Dr. Pressman earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has over 18 years of experience in pharmacy management, marketing, plus has created and provides a unique practice model which includes direct services to patients and medical professionals.

Dr. Angela Pressman is a Diplomat of American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, fellow in American Medicine Management Group, Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine, and International Society for Sexual Medicine.

She is certified in Hormone Replacement Therapy, Community Pharmacy Diabetes Management, the Advancement of Restorative Medicine, Genetic Drug Counselling, Sexual Health and Wellness and many others. Angela is also an active member of Florida Pharmacy Association, Broward and Dade County Pharmacy Associations, and the Professional Compounding Center of America.

Dr. Pressman was most recently published for writing a chapter in “Bioenvironmental Issues Affecting Men’s Reproductive and Sexual Health” a medical book by Elsevier; 2018.
